Tony Biancalana is Cofactor’s Chief Revenue Officer and has more than 15 years of experience in the digital space. While at Cofactor, he has re-positioned the sales team — both internally and externally — to focus on what is most important and relevant to current and prospective clients.
Before coming to Cofactor, he worked at both Yahoo! and AOL, as well as Quotient Technology, Inc.
Cofactor has always had a focus on problem-solving for clients, and when I came here I wanted my team to feel they are personally accountable to really make that their key priority. We have to deliver the absolute best for our clients — even if it means building something totally new — and feel personally accountable for doing so.
I believe we have to truly listen to our clients in order to help them, and we are extremely focused on doing just that!
GET TO KNOW TONY:
How do you think brand marketers can tell a coherent customer story when their customers’ behavior is evolving as fast as the digital tech used to reach them?
It is definitely a challenge, but one thing never changes about the customer journey: They always have to be Number One. You have to watch and listen and really think about what you’re seeing. The customer will always show you how to connect with them and what matters most to them. That’s where you start and everything else falls into place.
Recommend a movie you feel everyone must see.
The Princess Bride! It’s both extremely funny and quotable, but it is also a really sweet story, and I love how the heroes come together; it’s an unlikely group that ends up being a fiercely loyal crew.
What is the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
I coached 8 year old girls’ soccer.
