Good communication is critical to my role. You have to be a good listener and continually strive to be as clear as possible. I always try to make sure I gather information from all invested parties in order to get the whole picture on the projects I work on, and then communicate back to all those parties as well, so everyone stays “in the loop.”

What do you think is essential to maintaining a team and workplace where people feel confident and empowered to do their work?
In addition to clear communication, it is key to have clear goals. You then have to hold individuals and teams accountable for their part in reaching those goals.
What is the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
I love to travel, so I love doing all kinds of adventurous things. But so far the most adventurous thing has probably been walking across the Israeli border into Egypt and taking a bus to Cairo to see the pyramids.
